Hoghton Pantomime Society was founded in the early 2000s by Malcolm Clay and Russell Atkinson, two friends with a love of the stage.
They brought together a group of like-minded am-dram enthusiasts to keep the good folk of Hoghton entertained every other January.
It must be a good laugh, because most of them keep coming back to make fools of themselves on stage time and time again…

Tickets are now on sale for Hoghton Pantomimes next panto – Beauty and the Beast.
Rehearsals are well under way and it promises to be another cracking show again this time around.
There will be shows on January 2020 on the 17th to 19th and 24 to 26th Jan 2020, with tickets costing £10 for adults and £7 for children. Family tickets cost £30.
Having been to this pantomime on the last 3 occassions it is well worth a visit.
Traditionally this pantomime is held every other Year just after Christmas in the middle of January.
